Principal's Message

Hello, West Nation!  The 2017-18 school year continues to be one of the best in school history!  As we enter the final phase of the year, it is important that we continue this positive momentum until the very end.  The month of May is full of of campus events.  In addition to state and national testing, we will have several end-of-year activities for students and many specifically for seniors!  Please stay tuned to our website for more information.

Our spring competition teams have had a phenomenal semester!  Our One-Act Play qualified for bi-district, band received a Division 1 rating at UIL, and our choir program won sweepstakes at its UIL competition!  Fine arts is awesome! On the athletic side, boys golf qualified for regionals, boys soccer won the district championship and lost a heart-breaker in the regional quarter-finals, and girls softball is getting ready for a deep playoff run!  We also had several individuals qualify for regionals in tennis, track, and girls golf.  The robotics team qualified for the FIRST world championship. This success is part of our culture and we look to expand on this next year.  Good things are happening!!!

WE Stand Together. WE Strive Together. WE Succeed Together!

Proud to be part of the West TEAM,
