A Message from Jason Morley, Principal of Magnolia West High School

 

Welcome to Magnolia West High School! My name is Jason Morley and I am in my third year as Principal of Magnolia West, and I’m looking forward to getting to know and work with the amazing students, staff, parents, and community members.  I’ve been around Magnolia ISD for multiple years, serving as a teacher, coach, assistant principal, associate principal, and now principal.

 

I earned my Bachelor of Arts in English from Sam Houston State University and Master of Education in Educational Administration from Prairie View A&M University.

 

I am married to Kristine Morley, who works as a Registered Nurse.  We have four children: Brady, Caylon, Lexi, and Jaxson.  All of the kids are heavily involved in activities, and we spend most of our free time watching them participate in their current season.  Brady will be attending Austin College to play football.  Caylon plays football and baseball at Magnolia West.  Lexi will play volleyball and run track at Magnolia Junior High.  Jaxson is still in Intermediate school, but loves to play football, baseball and golf.

 

I am looking forward to a great year at Magnolia West High School.  We have been very blessed, as a family, to be a part of this great community.  I am extremely excited to serve the Magnolia community and the Magnolia West students and staff.

Welcome to the 23 – 24 school year!

This year, it is my honor to serve as the Associate Principal at Magnolia West.  This will be my second year serving in Magnolia, and I look forward to all we will accomplish and achieve over the next several months!

Prior to becoming a Mustang, I served as the Associate Principal at Lake Creek High School in Montgomery ISD, as well as several years as an Assistant Principal at Memorial High School in Spring Branch ISD.

I am very excited to be working with the Senior class here at Magnolia West. This will be my 6th year as an assistant principal at MWHS after serving in Houston ISD for eleven years as both a teacher and administrator. I am here to help prepare students (and parents) for the next phase of their lives. We are happy to assist every student in trying to figure out what that next phase of life will look like (college, military, work force, etc). Please let me know if you have any questions. I look forward to working with all of you to ensure a successful Senior year here at Mag West.

I am excited to be serving as the 11th grade Assistant Principal at Magnolia West High School.  This is my 12th year in education and my 9th year at Magnolia West High School.  I completed my Bachelors in Biology and Masters of Education at Texas A&M University; Proud Fightin' Texas Aggie Class of 2012. I started my teaching career in Biology and I have taught every level of Bio since then. After serving as the Science Dept Chair/Lead Teacher at MWHS for 8 years and Ineterim Testing Coordinator,  I was blessed to accept the position of Assistant Principal at Magnolia West High School.   I am very excited to begin the 24-25 school year.

My name is George Kelley and I am the 9th/10th (last name A-L) grade Assistant Principal here at Magnolia West.  This is my 9th year in education and my second year here at Magnolia West.  I spent my first 7 years in education at MHS, teaching special education and coaching soccer.  I graduated from Houston Baptist University with my B.B.A and graduated from Lamar University with my masters in Educational Leadership.  I am excited to be here and look forward to working with the parents and students to ensure their success and growth here at Magnolia West.
