Nathan Plucker represents MWHS at Special Olympics Texas Fall Classic

 
Nathan Plucker will be attending the Special Olympics Texas Fall Classic event Thursday, October 8 through Saturday, October 10th at Texas A&M in College Station, TX. Fall Classic is the "State Meet" for athletes in four different competitions: Aquatics, Bocce, Golf, and Softball. Over 1,300 athletes with more than 300 coaches, 2,000 volunteers, and 4,000 spectators will be in attendance.
 
Plucker will be competing in the Aquatics competition in the 400 meter freestyle, 200 meter freestyle, and 100 meter backstroke. Nathan has won the gold in the 400 meter event at both the preliminary competitions held in Sugarland, September 19th and Cypress-Ranch on October 3rd. He is coached by MISD's Patty Havlin and Rose Stewart.
 
Plucker is the only competitor who will be attending the State meet from Magnolia ISD. 
 
Nathan is the son of Amy and Terry Plucker and is a junior at Magnolia West High School.
