Magnolia Magic athlete Nathan Plucker brought home three medals from the state swim meet for Special Olympics. Plucker competed at the Fall Classic event for Special Olympics Texas October 8-10, 2015 on the campus of Texas A&M. The three-day event is the state meet for aquatics, bocce, golf, and softball. This year there were 546 athletes competing in aquatics.
Plucker earned gold medals in both the 400 Meter Freestyle and 100 Meter Backstroke. He also brought home a silver medal in the 200 Meter Freestyle.
Plucker is coached by MISD's Patty Havlin and Rose Stewart. He is a junior at Magnolia West High School. Nathan was the only competitor this year for Magnolia Magic Special Olympics.
Nathan is the son of Terry and Amy Plucker.
