About Me

Kids are what it's all about!  I love working with students.   I started my teaching career in 1985 as a 2nd grade teacher in Aldine.  I served on numerous committees, as a team leader and family leader, and was awarded Teacher of the Year for Sammons Elementary. After several years, I moved to Magnolia ISD where I was a 3rd grade teacher and administrator.  I was the assistant principal at Williams Elementary for 13 years and at Smith Elementary for 3 years.
I moved to the secondary level in 2011, where I have been serving as an assessment coordinator.  This year will mark my 7th year at MWHS and 34th year in education!  I am thrilled to be able to work with our students to ensure that they are on the right path towards graduation.  If there is ever anything that I can assist you or your child with, please don't hesitate to call or email me.  I'm here for kids!
