I am delighted to be teaching at Magnolia West High School!

Tutoring will be available during A Lunch of West Hour on

Afterschool Tutoring is available on Thursday.

I am a veteran teacher beginning my 27th year, overall, and 4th year at MWHS.  I have spent my entire career in advanced academics.

Originally from Cameron, Texas, I am a 1981 graduate of Texas A&M University. My husband is a Computer Specialist, and I have three sons. One of my sons teaches at Jersey Village High School, one is in theater in the Theater District of downtown Houston, and the youngest is a computer specialist in Portland, Oregon.

Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with some of the finest educators from whom I have learned much. I have taught Pre AP/IB World History most of my career. The past few 7 years, I have been blessed to have continued teaching in the International Baccalaureate Program through History of the Americas, Theory of Knowledge, and Pre AP/IB World History. I have served as Lead Teacher of my Social Studies Department, and have been CAS/Extended Essay Coordinator.

I am thrilled to continue learning from the fine educators at MWHS, and look forward to meeting you and your students.

Go Mustangs!
