Hello, I would like to welcome you to my English class! My name is Linda Stutz. My husband and I are both from Mission, Texas, in the Rio Grande Valley, and we love to travel and to spend time with family and friends, especially our grandchildren.

I first walked into a classroom as a teacher in a large high school when I was twenty-one years old, and I was often mistaken for a student. Now, I enter the classroom  as a grandmother, but I can truly say that after all these years, I am just as excited about my profession as I was as a first year teacher
At the beginning of my career, I taught each of the levels of English in high school. The last years, however, I have focused on junior and senior English and dual credit English. I have also served as an adjunct professor at Lonestar College for many years.

A student’s senior year is such an exciting, challenging time, and my goal is to do my very best to see that each of my students is successful in my class. I consider it a privilege to be here at MWHS, and it is my hope that this will be a great year for all the Magnolia West Mustangs!

You can reach me at lstutz@magnoliaisd.org. I have seventh period conference, and I am available for tutoring on Mondays and Thursdays after school.  I am also available during West Hour B on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. Please let me know ahead of time if you are coming in for help.  I am sure we can  find a time that works for you.
