Welcome from Linda Kenjura, MWHS Student Support Coordinator
Welcome to Mrs. Kenjura's website. I am excited for the opportunity to work at Magnolia West. I have been in education since August 1982. I recently retired from Texas Education after 37 years of experience, the last 16 years in Magnolia I.S.D and 21 years in Spring I.S.D. I have been a teacher and an assistant principal. I was an elementary principal for the past 17 years. Since I retired I was given the opportunity to work half time at Magnolia West as the Student Support Coordinator and I am thrilled to have this new challenge. As the Student Support Coordinator I will simply be supporting our students by spending time with them at lunch, during passing periods, and during advisory or West Hour. I will be working in the College and Career Center / "The Zone" with Mrs. Kilpatrick, our College and Career Counselor. I know many of the students at Magnolia West High School because I was the principal at both Nichols Sawmill and Magnolia Elementary. I believe in these students and their abilities because I have seen them be successful before. I will instill hard work, dedication and positive attitudes towards school, school work and the challenges of a rigorous curriculum. I plan on working closely with parents and will encourage a clear partnership between school and home. This will be an amazing year as we work together for the success of "our students". Please call or email me with any questions you might have. Email = email@example.com Phone = 281-252-2550 ext 7215. Twitter = @LindaKenjura Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help.
