Welcome to Mrs. Kenjura's website. This will be my first year at Magnolia West and I am excited for this opportunity. I have been in education since August 1982, which is a long time ago. I recently retired from Texas Education after 35 years of experience, the last 14 years in Magnolia ISD and 21 years in Spring ISD. I have been a teacher, an assistant principal and elementary principal for the last 17 of my 35 years. Since I retired I was given the opportunity to work half time at Magnolia West as the Student Support Coordinator and I am thrilled to have this new challenge. As the Student Support Coordinator I will simply be supporting our students by spending time with them at lunch, during passing periods, and during advisory or West Hour. I will focus on helping students stay on top of their grades, their social development and adjustment to High School Life. I know many of the students at Magnolia High School because I was the principal at both Nichols Sawmill and Magnolia Elementary. I believe in these students and their abilities because I have seen them be successful before. I will instill hard work, dedication and positive attitudes towards school, school work and the challenges of a rigor curriculum. I plan on working closely with parents and will encourage a clear partnership between school and home. This will be an amazing year as we work together for the success of "our students".
